Macedonian Soldier Grave Stele
This is a reconstruction of the grave stele of
a Macedonian soldier found in Pella, the
capital of ancient Macedonia, and
birthplace of Alexander the Great. The
warrior is portrayed in heroic nudity leaning
on his shield and holding a spear in his
hand.
