Obverse: Head of the goddess Athena wearing crested Corinthian helmet ornamented with coiled serpent. Her hair
is shown in long formal curls down back of neck. Reverse: Winged Nike, the goddess of Victory holding wreath in
extended right hand and trident in her left. The legend reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟY, meaning "belongs to
Alexander". Babylon mint. Struck under Antigonos I Monophthalmos, ca. 315-311 BC. Good lustrous style. Well
struck in high relief, centered.
