The original coin is in gold and is property of Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris - NOTE THAT
THERE IS ONLY ONE SUCH COIN IN THE WORLD (unlike Alexander's tetradrachm which are
plentiful) – this is an AUTHENTIC REPRODUCTION of that single original and is marked with the
logo of the owner BnF. Because the original coin in Paris is priceless - this reproduction is most
special and unique among all reproductions of ancient coins. All other reproductions came from
coins which have known value.
Obverse: Diademed head of Alexander with wavy hair struck in high relief.
Reverse: ΒΑCΙΛΕΥC AΛEXANΔPOC. Alexander the Great on his horse Buchephalus in heroic pose
brandishing a spear to the lion beneath.
