This particular lion pose is almost the same as that of the lions guarging the New York Public Library in
Mannhattan http://www.nypl.org/pr/lions.cfm which have stood there for almost a century. Our lions,
however, are more detailed as you can see when compared, and they are made of museum quality bronze.
