The Bisaltae, Thraco-Macedonian Tribe (475-465 B.C.) Silver Octadrachm

Diameter 36 mm.  Weight 28.6 g.

Obverse: Warrior, wearing the kausia and holding two spears, standing behind horse right. Reverse: Quadripartite
incuse square. Very rare and valuable early coinage silver octadrachm with CIΣ-A-ΛT-IK-ΩN, one of the first coin
