Antiochus III the Great (223-187 BC) Silver Tetradrachm

Obverse: Diademed bust of Antiochos III the Great right. Reverse: ÂÁÓÉËÅÙÓ ANTIOXÏÕ, Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting left hand on grounded ornamental bow. Nice portrait of the only Seleucid king that came to be known as "the Great". Antiochus III of Syria and Alexander III of Macedon and in fact the only two Macedonian kings that were remembered as "the Great".
