Seleucid Kings of Syria Antiochus I Soter (280-261 BC) Silver Tetradrachm Weight g. Diameter 30 mm. Obverse: Diademed but of Antiochos I Soter, superb portrait. Reverse: ÂÁÓÉËÅÙÓ ANTIOXÏÕ, Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting hand on bow, monograms in outer left and right fields. Nice portrait in high relief of a great Seleucid king, the first of the many Antiochos’ to come, well centered on a large 30 mm flan.
