Ancient Sculpture Gallery offers custom engraving services. We can engrave your existing item with text or create a custom engraved plaque with your choice of words. You can have your text engraved on bronze, marble, or a cast stone plate. We can engrave ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, famous Greek or Roman inscriptions, oaths, commitments, resolutions, famous quotes or texts dear to you. Custom engraving on marble block with raised border 24” x 40”
Customer requested the text to be engraved in “Snell Bold” font on a marble block size 24” x 40” (61 cm x 101.6 cm).
Four Bronze plates 14" x 24" with custom engraved text
The so-called “Lyon Tablet” is an ancient Roman bronze tablet that preserved a speech given by the Roman emperor Claudius (Gallo-Roman Museum, Lyon). Customer asked us to created 4 separate bronze engraved plates in the style of this Roman bronze, only engraved with "Copperplate Gothic Light" font. The 4 separate bronze engraved plates preserve long essays written by our customer and intended for his children. Each bronze plate is in size 14" x 24" x 0.25" thick (35 cm x 60 cm x 0.6 cm), and is purposely chiseled on the edges to resemble the Roman original.
Custom engraving on custom busts
We can engrave your custom marble bust with custom wording in your choice of font and color. Customers sometimes desire their custom-made marble busts to be engraved with inscription bearing the name of the person depicted, dates, or titles. Ten Commandments-style tablet with custom text 14” x 10”
Custom engraving on a Ten commandments-style cast stone tablet, hand-carved to resemble ancient look. Antique Stone patina was applied to add authenticity.
Three cast stone tablets 12" x 16" and 8" x 11"
These cast stone tablets utilize the same classical font. The larger ones have arch on the top while the smaller one is a rectangle. The pictures below show 2 options. The first 3 pictures show the 3 engraved tablets on a plain white cast marble block. The next 3 pictures below show the same plaques finished in Antique Stone patina. All had their edges chiseled and applied patina gives them authenticity.
Custom Proposal engraving on cast stone tablet 11'' * 17''
This marriage proposal was engraved on a cast stone tablet in the Ten commandments-style and in size 11'' * 17'' tall. The font is Old English and edges were chiseled to make it look old. It was also heavily aged with ancient patina to give it an appearance desired by the customer.
Your custom engraving options
You can choose to have your custom plaque engraved on bronze, marble, or a cast stone.

The cast stone engraved plaques can be in plain white or Antique Stone finish, with chiseled or unchiseled edges as shown in above examples.
