Bactrian Kingdom Coins

The Bactrian Kingdom was the easternmost part of the Hellenistic world which was created by the conquests of the Macedonian king Alexander the Great. It covered Bactria and Sogdiana in Central Asia from 250 to 125 BC, while an expansion of its armies into northern India from 180 BC established the Indo-Greek Kingdom, which was to last until around 10 AD.
